Privacy Policy

PakRabta does not collect, request, or store personal information from visitors who are simply using the directory. Specifically, we do not:

• Require an account to browse, search, or view any office.
• Set advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies.
• Use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar third-party tracking service.
• Sell, rent, or share information about you with data brokers or advertisers.
• Track your location or read your contacts.

In the app, your saved offices are kept on your device unless you create an account (below) to sync them.

Creating an account is optional. You only need one if you want your favourite offices saved to your profile so they follow you across devices. Browsing never requires it.

To create an account we ask for, and store:

• Your full name, so the app can greet you and show whose account it is.
• Your phone number, which is how you sign in. It is your login identity, so it must be unique to your account.
• Your city (optional), used to default the directory to offices near you.
• Your password, stored only as a salted one-way bcrypt hash. We never keep the password itself and cannot see it.
• The offices you save, kept as a list of which listings you favourited.

That is all an account holds. We do not send marketing, we do not share these details with anyone, and you can delete your account and everything in it at any time by emailing hello@pakrabta.com.

The app lets you report a wrong listing, suggest a missing office, claim an office you represent, or send feedback. These are the only places you give us anything, and only if you choose to submit one.

What each form asks for:

• Report a listing: the office name and city, what is wrong, your description, and optionally a correction and your email address.
• Suggest an office: the office's details (name, type, category, city, address, phone, timings, website) and optionally your email address.
• Claim an office: the office, your name and a work email address, both required, your role, optionally a phone number and a message, and a record that you confirmed you are authorised to represent that office.
• Send feedback: what it is about, your message, and optionally your email address.

An email address is optional on every form except a claim, where we need it to check that the claim is genuine. If you leave it out, we simply cannot reply to you.

These forms are open to anyone with no login, which makes them an obvious target for spam. To keep them usable we store two extra things alongside each submission, and nothing else:

• A one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself. It is put through SHA-256 with a secret salt, so it cannot be turned back into your IP. It exists so we can cap how many submissions come from one device in a short window, and so a reviewer can see when many submissions came from the same place.
• Your browser or app user-agent (for example "Chrome on Android"), for the same reason.

We do not store your raw IP address in our database, and neither of these is used to track you across the site or to build a profile.

Like almost every website, the servers that deliver these pages keep standard technical request logs, which can include your IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. These are kept by our hosting provider for a short period.

They exist to keep the service running and secure, for example diagnosing errors and detecting abuse. We do not use them to identify individuals, combine them with other data, or build profiles.

Every submission is deleted automatically 14 days after you send it, along with the email address, the IP hash, and the user-agent stored with it. A scheduled job does this; it is not something we have to remember to do.

The deletion happens on age alone, whether or not we have reviewed the submission. If reviewing it changed the directory, for example a new office was added or an existing one was marked verified, that change stays. The record of it does not contain your details.

You do not have to wait. If you sent us a form and want it removed sooner, email hello@pakrabta.com and we will delete it.

One value is saved in your browser's local storage, under the key pakrabta-theme: whether you prefer the light or dark appearance.

It never leaves your device, is not a cookie, and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

The listings on PakRabta (office names, addresses, published phone numbers, timings) are the institutional contact details of public and non-governmental organisations. They describe offices, not private individuals, and are gathered from publicly available sources.

If you represent a listed organisation and want an entry corrected or removed, email hello@pakrabta.com and we will act on it.

We embed no third-party widgets, comment systems, social buttons, or advertising networks.

Fonts are served from Google Fonts and are self-hosted at build time by our framework, so your browser does not contact Google when you load a page.

Links out to official government websites are provided for convenience. Once you follow one, that site's own privacy policy applies, not this one.

PakRabta is a general-audience directory and is not directed at children. Browsing collects nothing. We do not knowingly create an account for, or keep information submitted by, a child. If you believe a child has created an account or sent us a form, contact us and we will delete it.

Data-protection laws give you rights to access, correct, and erase personal data held about you. If you have only browsed the directory, we hold nothing about you and there is nothing to disclose or erase.

If you created an account or sent us a form, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email hello@pakrabta.com and we will act on it.

If we add a feature that changes what is collected, for example an account system, a newsletter, or analytics, we will update this page and revise the date above before that feature goes live.
